Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

Be a registered Cree Beneficiary.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Intend to build and occupy the home as their primary residence within Waswanipi.
Be a first-time private housing applicant (priority consideration).
Have no outstanding housing-related debts owing to the Cree First Nation of Waswanipi, unless a repayment agreement is in good standing.
Demonstrate the ability to secure project financing and meet lender requirements, where applicable.
Submit all required application forms and supporting documentation.

Additional eligibility requirements may apply in accordance with Cree First Nation of Waswanipi Housing Policies.
