Council Portfolio System

The CFNW Council is pleased to announce the implementation of the Council Portfolio System for the current 2026–2030 Council term.

Each Council member has been assigned specific portfolios to help strengthen communication, coordination, and follow-up between Council and CFNW departments.

The portfolio system provides staff with clear Council contacts for specific areas while supporting collaboration, accountability, and effective coordination across the organization.

The Council Portfolio Structure includes areas such as Governance & External Relations, Community Engagement & Recreation, Housing & Infrastructure, Land & Environment, Economic Development, Finance, Culture & Traditional Knowledge, Education & Youth, Health & Social Services, and Subsidiaries.
The portfolio assignments will support Council and administration in maintaining clear lines of communication and ensuring that key areas continue to receive appropriate Council attention throughout the 2026–2030 term.
