How to Apply for Sponsorship: Supporting Our Community One Request at a Time
At Cree First Nation of Waswanipi, we believe in lifting up our community through education, culture, and sports. That’s why we’re proud to offer sponsorship opportunities to individuals and groups working hard to make a difference.
Whether you’re a student pursuing post-secondary education, an athlete competing at a regional event, or part of a team organizing a cultural celebration — your goals matter. Our sponsorship program is here to support them.
Who Can Apply?
Anyone organizing or participating in an activity that promotes personal growth, education, health, or cultural awareness is welcome to submit a sponsorship request. We accept applications for:
- Educational support
- Community and cultural events
- Sports teams and individual athletes
- Youth initiatives and development programs
How to Apply
We’ve made the sponsorship process as simple as possible:
- Prepare Your Request
Include details about your activity or event, and
Provide a clear the budget or cost breakdown - Submit by Email
Send your complete request to sponsorshiprequest@cfnw.ca. - Wait for Review
The Sponsorship Committee meets regularly to review all requests.
You will be contacted once a decision has been made
Tips for a Successful Application
- Be clear and specific about what the funds will be used for.
- Submit early — especially if your event or deadline is coming up.
- Double-check that you’ve included all the required documents.
