Education Incentive Program

Cree First Nation of Waswanipi is proud to support the educational achievements of its members. Whether you’ve recently graduated from high school, completed a vocational program, or earned a college or university degree, your hard work deserves recognition.

That’s why we’re inviting beneficiary members to apply for our Education Incentive Program — a one-time incentive available to those who have successfully completed an accredited educational program.

Who Is Eligible?

This incentive is open to Cree First Nation of Waswanipi members who:

  • Are beneficiary members residing on reserve or within the territory
  • Meet the ten (10) year residency clause
  • Have completed one of the following within the last three (3) years:
    • High School (Secondary)
    • Vocational Program
    • Post-Secondary Studies at a recognized college or university

What You Need to Apply

To be considered for the incentive, applicants must provide the following:

  1. A completed Application Form
  2. An official copy of your diploma, certificate, or degree
  3. An official transcript from the recognized educational institute

How to Submit

Applications can be submitted in person or by email.
All documents must be submitted in full for your application to be considered.

Please note:
Approval is subject to available funding, and in some cases, applications may be processed in the following year.
